 Carbonara
a la Pasta
Delightful and easy to make, this pasta dish features
spaghetti tossed in olive oil, bacon, and Parmesan cheese,
then garnished with sun dried tomatoes and cracked black
pepper to taste. This recipe is from Chef Charles Deeby of
Kristofer's Bisto, as featured in the Amado Territory Ranch
Inn Cookbook.
1 package spaghetti
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/8 cup cooked bacon
Few sprigs of chopped parsley
2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 egg yolk
Sun dried tomatoes
Cracked black pepper
Cook spaghetti in a large pot. Add salt and drain.
Add olive oil, bacon, egg yolk and Parmesan cheese.
Stir until all is blended evenly.
Garnish with sun dried tomatoes and black pepper.
